The Fall of a Dedicated Health Minister.

"...Is best that i resign from my post so as not to be a liability to the national leadership..."
NST, Thursday January 3, 2008
The points to note in Dr Chua case :
1) People do and can make mistakes but this is a private matter between two consenting adults. Who are we to judge especially so when even his family has accepted his apology? I end by leaving you with this thought: Let he who is without sin cast the first stone.
2) Private Matter
We salute Datuk Seri Dr Chua Soi Lek for his integrity, accountability, transparency, above all, courage in admitting publicly that he was the one in the sex video.
Dr Chua has provided a high standard of accountability for all of us to emulate. He has indeed become an exemplary model for politicians.
This is his private affair which, unfortunately, has become public knowledge. What he did is a manifestation of human instinct which many have fallen victim to but were neither discovered nor exposed.
Aside from the morality issue, he has become a victim of circumstances. His confession makes it easier for those responsible to decide on his fate in the party and government.
One is tempted to ask why the same could not have been done in the case of alleged judicial fixing recording. If those involved had shown accountability and revealed everything, as Dr Chua has, it would have saved everyone time and resources.

Jesus said that because all those hypocrites trying to persecute a prostitute in the synagogue, they want to stone her to death. But to this minister, nobody is trying to stone him, Malaysians are getting fed up with person holding such a high office having said one thing but action tell otherwise.

i am quite sympathize with Dr chua honestly how many man would want to do the samething to other than your wife but dare not for many other reasons. he not only did it but have the gut to admit it, if this thing happen in US or western country i am sure nothing will happen to him just look at Bill Clinton he got it scorch free. i know many people think of themself having high moral values but they are actually hypocrites .

Oh yes i do agreed with you atleast he has a true grit of a fighter.I may suggest to him that he may not have lost every thing...Do you remember the case of tsunami in Banda Aceh Indonesia? There was this young man wlking along the beach searching for some things and he met a team of television crew from England and he was filmed wearing a Liverpool red Tee jersey on it.And when the news was telecasted live in England and else where of the world. His Tee jersey was immediately got the attention of the Liverpool club manager and the a few big gun of the club flew down to meet this chap and he was fully sponsor to study in England!!!!No joke-it is a true story. Why not man a free advert for Liverpool!!
OK now if our friend were to wear a "Crocodile" brand of under pants...Wow! wau lau...peh tak han.I think you good IT savvy fellow must quickly contact him and sit down with him and going throught the tapes over and over again to try to improve the quality of the filming so as to make the brand visible-Just like advertisement one..you know?
i think he can make it rich.Mind you how many millions of people watching the tapes??

Political lesson chapter 1,
good performance in doing your job and doing it in bedroom are 2 different undertaking, never confuse with both. Always know your limit before going public.
