Indian made "nian gao" ( Kuih bakul )

"We produce approximately 4,000 of "nian gao" every day" said B.Balamurali. 80 % exported to Singapore and while 20 % is sold to retailers in Johor and KL. How come never heard about it?
It was reported that a group of Malay and Indian workers are making the traditional Chinese cake in his bakery; that comes in banana-leaf or plastic packaging.
Any offer from Chinese Ah Pek to make a Rawa Thosai ?

wonder why no chinese making roti canai we normally see indian or malay do it .i have ask one chinese friend who open a electrical shop the reason he give is that you cannot make much money from roti canai because you have to do it one at a time spin it cook it b4 you can serve to customer .how much you make from each roti canai 20cents or 30 cents times how many you can make 100 or 200 ? but i think is it much easier to make chinese nian kau you just have to prepare it in large quantity and pour it into each container of difference sizes heat it up (take long time) and it is done .

Chinese made "roti canai" most probably will taste lousy unless he learn from his Indian master secret recipe,as you know it is an ethnic type of food, not every body can make it.
Like you can not find a tasty Chinese "nasi Goreng" or nasi lemak" either, but then Chinese is good at cooking "pap chap kai" (cantonese)chicken rice.

Hi yo! Linpeh ( Can you change to a nicer name huh!? I feel like...calling my Muar's 5 color flag gang to whack u nicely... haha)
Actually in Muar town inside the AAA hawker centre (Opposite CTChow's old house in Jalan Sulaiman)there is a Chinese man's stall selling ROTI CANAI!The roti is made by him;his action in preparing the roti is juat like a typical Indian... But it is a vegetarian food stall and the dhal is thick.
You can copy anything from this world but please put on some brain to modify it so that it is still your own creation!
