MUAR-"Mapor"...Bandar Maharani-My home town for the last 34 years;has got many nice things to eat;like Teow Chew mee,Wan Dan Mee,Teow Chew Fish porridge,the Bakri"Ikan Haruan Mee hon","little Star restaurant",Jln Sisi Hainanese chicken rice,the kopi-o,the ais kacang at old Cathay cinema and these are the places/makan that i frequent most.Of cause there are plenty of choices besides what i have just told you.But these are my favorites.it all depend on your own taste.Mmmm...yummy

Oh yes , the Muar rojak at Tanjung also very popular among the people in Muar. If you enjoy"Asam Fish" you may go to Parit Jawa but there are some shops in Muar providing the same nice delicious type of asam fish too.

The Nasi lemak with ikan bili wrap in banana leaf taste delicious and also the yau char kuia (fry floor stick) taste good too.
Delicious muar food are way too many to write all down.
Yeah! Oh Yes indeed;there are endless tales to it.Muar Otak-otak is good.When you get ti from the road side ( Tam Chak Kui ) make sure you taste one batang first before ta pau the rest and remind the seller that you want a fresh one to bring to KL or any where;then they will give you a good one.i did came back to approach the hawker after a few months to complain about the stale one and they changed for me willingly.( they are honest-not that i told them i am 5 colour flag gang-in Hokkien)
