I remember when we were in secondary school days-MUar HiGh SchooL-Actually not very high only 2 stories building but now it has classified as a heritage building in Malaysia, built in 1905,Right? bodies;we used to lepak in Muar Tanjung. We have had 5 cinemas in Muar those days.Every Wednesday nights was the pasar malam nights in Jalan SiSi.Plenty of Malay Kuih Muih; nothing much to see really...yeah i know lah you see me i see kuih ( those days this was the code word to call a young chick in Muar) really nothing much to see not like nowadays pasar malam in KL.SOoooo MUch to see.
We had our sports practices in the ruby field near the new'Tanjung. To be continued....

Muar tanjung has changed quite a lot,
total face lift for me.Wondering the roller skating ring still around?
That lovely girl not your daughter i will assume, seem like she is a bit too old to be yours.
I think the skating ring is still around.
OoooH yes!!
That lovely girl...? She is definately mine.I saw her -the exact one coming out from the "womb"...
She is my youngest born 16/12/1997-Assunta Hospital PJ @ 11.00am on a shining day.Her name is Hui Wen.Looks more like the father. Her head is big when compare to both the sisters.
Yeah. I remember morning matinees was only 25 cents and wan tan mee only 30 cents a plate.
I dom't know whether you remember seeing the uprooted tree near tanjung club. The roots were upright and it was still green (then).
3 bei loh was the red light district and Sei Kai where the Victory was situated provided endless hours of fun and it was a perfect lepak ground. I remember there was a nightclub there for 'naughty' people out for some fun with the bar girls. Those ex-bargirls must be grannies now.
Yeah leedon you are right.I remember went to Victoria to see Japenese X rated movie ( Form 3 or 4 then)2 show combined for only rm 0.65 and the cinema in jln Abdullah (Majestic?) two combine show fot RM 0.40.BH PEH even brought me in for rm 0.20 (BLACK MARKET)those days i was corrupted by these people haha. Look like 3 bei loh no more there right?
sound like Muar Po is getting better every year, the best "fun town"in the country.
