Love life ! Be grateful for it always and show your gratitude by not shying away from its challengers.Always try to live a little bit beyond your capacities and you will find your capacities are greater than you ever dream! Malaysia Today Terkini
Popular Malaysian political website blocked: Government Malaysia on Thursday defended blocking access to a prominent political website that has attacked top leaders, saying it had ignored warnings against publishing "slanderous" articles.
Malaysia's media is tightly controlled by the government, and it has expressed frustration over its inability to rein in Internet news portals which have become popular alternative news sources.
The Star newspaper said the government-backed communications watchdog had ordered all 21 Internet providers in the country to block the Malaysia Today website, whose founder has already been charged with sedition.
"I think we don't intend to curtail people's freedom and right to give information and debate," Home Minister Syed Hamid Albar told reporters.
"But when you publish content that is libellous, defamatory and slanderous to other people I think it is only natural we take action," he said.
"So many warnings and opportunities have been given and it is not heeded, so I am sure they have exercised their authority well under the law."
Raja Petra Kamaruddin, founder and editor of the Malaysia Today website, confirmed that access to his website had been blocked but said a mirror site had been established with a foreign provider.
"I will fight the government action all the way. Their action will not stop me from writing," he said, promising to challenge the shutdown in court.
Raja Petra is already facing a sedition charge and a defamation suit after linking Deputy Prime Minister Najib Razak and his wife to the sensational murder of a Mongolian woman.
Media watchdog Reporters Without Borders ranks Malaysia 124 out of 169 on its worldwide press freedom index, and says the main media are "often compelled to ignore or to play down the many events organised by the opposition".
The government has previously threatened that bloggers could be punished under draconian internal security laws which provide for detention without trial.

Leatherback Turtle sighting in Rantau Abang -WAY BACK in 08/06/1980
My last visit here was in 1980,while i was still having my course in Polytechnic Kuantan.I came alone here from Kuantan after a term break; by hitch hiking!!
This was a turtle hatchery site just beside the Rantau Abang beach.Look at the simple set up here when compare to the new facilities today at Cherating.
I have had heard about and even saw some old post card;people climbed on top of the turtle's back for a ride before she goes back to the sea!! Xzx*#@!
The sighting for this species has tremendously dropped to an unbelievable point ! Who got to be blame? The tourist? The authorities? Or the turtle themselves? Haha stupid isn't it?I don't see tiger or lion vanishing from the Indian Jungle or from the Safari Park in Africa? I strongly believe it is the humans' behavior that causes the species to extinct.i.e: trap in the fishing net, get caught and slaughter for its meat or might be even being eaten before they were full grown and many other more tales... And i do not think they are that fussy to choose their breeding ground. What say You? while i was in Cherating on the 23/8/08 i was told that there were about 5 sighting of leatherback turtle on the Terengganu Beaches!!! for the last few months. Is was a good news indeed. That's why i say if these mother turtles got a ill feeling of our tourist here...they would never never want to come back...but please remember they are just animals.it is our duty to conserve these species and protect them by all means. The campaign of conservation must be year long and forever as long as the species are still around and NOT Hangat hangat tahi Ayam one ma!like the Road safety Campaign.

Day trip to Pulau Redang & Pulau Lang Tengah FROM Perhentian on 22/8/08
The scenic view@Long Beach of Pulau Redang. Here you can find plenty of food stalls, chalets and motels.Fewer Mat salleh were on this island when compare to Perhentian.
Pulau Lang Tengah,an island situated west of Redang. Our daytrip here inclusive of a short dive on one of the snorkelling spot here on this island. This day trip was RM 500.00 handled by the same boat man-Joe.It takes you about 45 minutes from the Perhentian island to Redang. Pulau Lang Tengah is just on the way to Redang from Perhentian.About 15 minutes away.
My boat man -Joe and his company-a cheerful boy of 11 years old-Alwi.Cute and brave! I was behind and a distance away from this little boy;during the shark viewing excursion at the Shark Point-Due to my Bo Lam Par-I thought a lot during that moment of shark viewing....thinking of the girls' safety and my both pair of hairy legs...Wau Lau >>>>"Better get up soon before too late!!!"(in my MinD) Further more this Joe was squeezing hard on the plastic bottle to attract the shark!! This picture was taken when were back to the Perhentian island later in the evening. Anyway the ride to Redang was not all very smooth; the sea was choppy and the wind was strong too.you know people like us we always had some "thought" during that moment seeing the water and the distance away...Shit!...
I caught a sea cucumber
This Lang Tengah has a nice spot for snorkeling
I caught a parrot fish too; using my shirt as a net.Later it was released into the sea again.Found some stranded sea cucumber on the Perhentian beach;i managed to transfer them to the water area.
A crystal clear water...

Have you seen HIM lately??
Ini Macam Pun Ada
I was quite shock to read the line..."I am happy that i can contribute something to the country" !!! If i ( that's me OK?) want to contribute to the country; i will first start with my own community service...I will start to clean up the Bukit Maluri's wet markets' dirty clogged drain. Hehe! if i were to do it for 30 hours and 4 seconds...Can i get a "Malaysia Book of Records" for doing this feat ?? Being >"THE LONGEST DIRTY CLOGGED DRAIN CLEANED BY A SINGLE MAN"??!!?? Will they grant me that title?? I would want to eat and enjoy my "proper Meals" not just fruits, bread and raisins as reported. So that i have the energy to do the cleaning work. As for me...to be a proud and patriotic Malaysian, one must do something that is beneficial to his community, the Rakyat as a whole must benefit from what you did ... Not just personal "Hu Ha" Tak steamlah !! Personally i would comment that what he did was more of an endurance feat and personal guts.I wonder would he called off the show if the sky started to rain heavily with thunder storm?? And a wind speed of 60 km/hr up there?? Next time do something else man!!
