"anyone from a minority group can be a nation’s leader
Only in a truly democratic and free country like USA event like this will happen. USA has long cherish equality , liberty and justice for all its citizens regardless of race, religion, gender, national origin and sexual orientation, so long as majority of electorates choose you. It 's clearly stated in their constitution, and in practice by this Anglo majority country. Americans really practice what they preach to the world, my friend.
America is one of a few countries that practice equality for all its citizens, it is clearly written out in their constitution where all men are created equal. Any one can run for the highest office of the land and hold highest office so long as he has the nomination and majority of electorate supports in gaining electorate college votes.
It is governed without race , gender and religion bigotries like Malaysia's government and political party which constantly use race, religion and gender in formulating and governing of Malaysia.
