The Thai temple in Mae Salong(northen region)-1/2/09

The Thai like to make the coin in "standing" position ( see the bottom picture) for the prayer and i was told by our tour guide that this position can bring good luck.I tried to make my coin in that position for a few times!!
Phew! initially got into my nerve with pressure... cos kept thinking about what the guide has just told me but at last the coin"stand up" it can show that when you try to believe in something what people told us it has some kind of mental test on you but act wisely!
Some times ago;At one temple in the Penang; i saw a woman keep on throwing coins just to get the coin goes inside the box! i believe once she got her coins inside it she will be pleased and happy and most probably feel blessed!! Alamak not me-lah.

Safe to drink these "mineral water" as a healing drink??

When you travel along the road from Sunway Alam Suria/Puncak Alam towards the junction of Kuala Selangor/Meru, at 3/4 of the way;You could see some folks taking these water seeping out from the foot hill.It seems to have some healing power form the water!
What i noticed was the oil palm plantation on top of the hill.I am afraid that the fertilizer used for the oil palm might leached to the bottom and then.... Some
body please test the water content before consuming it! Oh! PLEASE.

Blue Berry in FRIM Kepong and the giant millipede

These Blue Berry plants are abundance in FRIM Kepong (along the jungle track from the water fall area towards the camp site) The leaves are hairy and the berry is dark blue in colour. It taste nice -sweet and a bit of sourly.Mind you we are suppose to consume o lot of rich colour fruits and these berries produce hippuric acid in the urine , which acidified and cleanses the urine and inhabits bacterial growth. They are best for cystitis and urinary tract infection.
I hope those people who know it; please spare some for the ladies!~
I found a giant millipede along the way ;surprisingly it is quite aggressive!

My so called "father's" grave-My aunties' eldest brother. His name is Yong Pui Chong; He passed away in 1960 and i am supposed to be his adopted son ( the tomb's stone bears my name as his son)and yet i was being adopted (in Paper)by another relative who's surname is "Yeo".You know what!? My birth cert is as big as an A3 size paper!! ;which was issued by the Malacca registrar office.
Those days i was shy to show my "big" birth cert to any one! Many years later; i only realised the word "ANAK ANGKAT" was written on the cert. haha

As usual after the prayers we will go to Jalan Meriam,Muar at "Hak Gwai"(black ghost-in Cantonese) to have our lunch. The fried noodles are good and delicious! Whenever i was there visiting the toilet; i always saw this snake fish (Haruan) is kept in the bath tank! This time i "itch" hand and i tried my luck to catch this fish;surprisingly i managed to get hold of it! Actually it is not an easy task to catch this type of fish bare handed!SEE my skill! If i had a bigger pocket in my pant;i would have "pocketed" it!haha.

This "pose" taken at the old church was the same as during the olden days when i last visited there in 1975 and some where 1985.
Melacca river cruise and the famous red clock tower.
These two men were trying their fortune to scoop up some old coins ( probably old Portuguese or Dutch coin??) along the river bank.Look at this Mat Salleh waiting for the catch...During good time ;they were paid RM1000.00 for an old coin!

The most advanced state in Malaysia

After the BIG SWEEP!!
This picture above was taken sometimes before end of last year;some where when the Selangor state was on high alert of the dengue attack .This premises is situated just beside the main road of Jalan Semangat PJ;Very near to Dutch Lady! All these years the empty bottles were laying there! I wonder how this people did their mosquito fogging all these while!!! Now i saw the empty bottles were cleared to make way for a new redevelopment.
Please read the news paper report below:-
Monday February 2, 2009 Selangor records rise in dengue cases Health Ministry director-general Tan Sri Dr Ismail Merican, who released the statistics on Friday, said Selangor had a total of 2,391 dengue cases, the highest in the country as at Jan 24. Kuala Lumpur-Putrajaya had 436 dengue cases while Negri Sembilan recorded 94. Selangor also topped the list in the number of chikungunya cases with 116 cases while Kuala Lumpur-Putrajaya had 28 with Negri Sembilan having nine. Dr Ismail hit out at some residents who refused to co-operate with health officers who were carrying out inspections. “They refuse to allow the officers into their premises to check for aedes larvae and even close their windows during fogging,” he said, adding that the health officers were empowered to issue compounds up to RM500 to those who do not keep their compounds clean.
HOW LIKE THAT????No body seems to see?I mean those empty bottles there left for yearssssss.
