Thailand's toilet facilities

This place is at Wat Rong Khun 白龙宫; on the way to Maesai boarder town. Before going in the toilet you are asked to take off your shoe and put on the sandal provided.Likewise for the female.
These is most elaborate toilet i ever seen! It is located at the same temple;Wat Rong Khun白龙宫.the whole building is painted in golden colour! Fit for a Maharajarela!
Whereas the toilet in the shopping mall are not that well up keep but the tourist attraction areas are all very clean-very clean! The above picture shows a toilet seat vendor machine.Frankly i can't find one in Malaysia! But is OK we used to "squat" on the toilet cover seat !!Err!

Thai Exotic food-in Maesai town(Thai Northen region)-31/1/09

This stall is situated along the main road of Maesai town(about the size of Muar Tangkak) I managed to ask permission before i started to snap these exotic delicacy for you to see!

I saw the same dishes were sold at Chengmai Airport Centre shopping mall too!

Fried...?

Fried maggot
Fried Don-know-what -insect!
Fried Grasshopper

A not so friendly design for a water spillway-unEco Friendly

A nice view of the On Site Retention Pond at Park-City
when there is an over flow;the water will flow/spill over to the lower part;In this case the spillway was filled up with rubble stones of various sizes.
Look at the dried area at certain part of the spillway, the fishes will be trapped in between the stones during dry spell and causes death to the fishes.
During dry season;Certain part of the spillway may still contain some water but that kind of shallow water is not meant for living fish and even guppies will be dead; as a result mosquito will be infested freely.
Some people may find it (filling up with stones) look aesthetic with the stone filling BUT it might cause the inverse effect if the ecopart is not being look into.In any design the practicality aspect must be the number one thing otherwise the user is going to suffer!

Hokkien fried Tapioca Flour noodle

This makan place is situated off Old Klang Rd; the entrance is just next to the Batu 4 post office;this entrance also leads you to the Choong Wen Chinese primary school.

The foot massage in Maesai-boarder town next to Myama-31/1/09

The Thai temple in Mae Salong(northen region)-1/2/09

The Thai like to make the coin in "standing" position ( see the bottom picture) for the prayer and i was told by our tour guide that this position can bring good luck.I tried to make my coin in that position for a few times!!
Phew! initially got into my nerve with pressure... cos kept thinking about what the guide has just told me but at last the coin"stand up" it can show that when you try to believe in something what people told us it has some kind of mental test on you but act wisely!
Some times ago;At one temple in the Penang; i saw a woman keep on throwing coins just to get the coin goes inside the box! i believe once she got her coins inside it she will be pleased and happy and most probably feel blessed!! Alamak not me-lah.

Safe to drink these "mineral water" as a healing drink??

When you travel along the road from Sunway Alam Suria/Puncak Alam towards the junction of Kuala Selangor/Meru, at 3/4 of the way;You could see some folks taking these water seeping out from the foot hill.It seems to have some healing power form the water!
What i noticed was the oil palm plantation on top of the hill.I am afraid that the fertilizer used for the oil palm might leached to the bottom and then.... Some
body please test the water content before consuming it! Oh! PLEASE.

Blue Berry in FRIM Kepong and the giant millipede

These Blue Berry plants are abundance in FRIM Kepong (along the jungle track from the water fall area towards the camp site) The leaves are hairy and the berry is dark blue in colour. It taste nice -sweet and a bit of sourly.Mind you we are suppose to consume o lot of rich colour fruits and these berries produce hippuric acid in the urine , which acidified and cleanses the urine and inhabits bacterial growth. They are best for cystitis and urinary tract infection.
I hope those people who know it; please spare some for the ladies!~
I found a giant millipede along the way ;surprisingly it is quite aggressive!

My so called "father's" grave-My aunties' eldest brother. His name is Yong Pui Chong; He passed away in 1960 and i am supposed to be his adopted son ( the tomb's stone bears my name as his son)and yet i was being adopted (in Paper)by another relative who's surname is "Yeo".You know what!? My birth cert is as big as an A3 size paper!! ;which was issued by the Malacca registrar office.
Those days i was shy to show my "big" birth cert to any one! Many years later; i only realised the word "ANAK ANGKAT" was written on the cert. haha

As usual after the prayers we will go to Jalan Meriam,Muar at "Hak Gwai"(black ghost-in Cantonese) to have our lunch. The fried noodles are good and delicious! Whenever i was there visiting the toilet; i always saw this snake fish (Haruan) is kept in the bath tank! This time i "itch" hand and i tried my luck to catch this fish;surprisingly i managed to get hold of it! Actually it is not an easy task to catch this type of fish bare handed!SEE my skill! If i had a bigger pocket in my pant;i would have "pocketed" it!haha.
