The Blue & the Red prawns

Red Lobsters look exactly like real lobsters – cooked lobsters – because most are actually quite red. They make very pretty and interesting tank residents (by themselves). Snap their large pincers off if you plan to keep them with your fish-This is the advice by the hobbyist but i think it is a bit cruel to do this; just leave him along with the rest that should be ok.

It was sold here at RM 6.00 per prawn. Easy to keep.In China; the restaurants are cooking it as a local delicacy!

Long-Armed Blue Lobsters are really prawns. They can easily snag a fish the same size as their body. We had not seen them for a long time and did not miss them. Those old blue lobsters don’t resemble lobsters in the least. They’re really prawns – sort of a shrimp that grows as large as a small lobster.

Their long thin pincers (nothing like heavy lobster claws) are extremely adapt at catching any type of fish that swims close. Not just scavengers – these guys are active and efficient hunters. They also enjoy fighting with each other. You can also find them in many Thai restaurants.

I bought these type at RM 8.00 per prawn at Muar.But unfortunately both species are good at climbing out from the tank to escape!

The water is clean & Clear at all time!

I have keep this fish tank (5 foot length)outside at the porch area ( till mid morning sun shine) for a couple of years.Initially the water was always greenish in colour; After some treatment and "interior changes" and today finally i did it to maintain a clear water through out the days and weeks EVEN months!!!

This plant was planted in between the gaps(cavity) of the drift wood.It is a healthy plant.Can see the clarity of the water and the under laying stones are clearly visible.No added chemical in the water; you will be surprised!

These photo shot was not too good ;due to the morning sun's reflection and glare. I just want to show you how clean & clear is the water.

Look at the clarity of the water.Fantastic huh! I don not need sophisticated apparatus/set up to run this ...simple and cheap!Believe me; I wish to share the secret with you only if you write to me via e mail @ waja_iii@hotmail.com...But i need a present from you>>A SPECIAL WATER SNAIL OR A NICE WATER PLANT for exchange...and let's be friend .

Fresh water Blue Prawn

My Albino Peacock Cichlid have grown big!

New addition; A fresh water blue prawn...I bought it form Muar; 4 for Rm 24.00; 2 jumped out from the tank and disappeared.The 2 nd last one jumped out and my maid mistook it as a scorpion and stepped it to death !!! It was smashed like a whipped potato. Bodoh Betul! So sayang!

Now i am keeping it in a big glass jar and the opening is sealed tight.

Bye Bye My Sugar Glider!!

Since everyone lost interest in keeping the sugar glider;i have decided to let 3 of them to the park/playground nearby..any way there this a jambu tree and some other fruits tree around.Let's see how they survive! This might be good for them.

My Sugar Glider - having babies again!

I think both the adult pair were mated on 20 of September 2008...cos when i went near to the coconut shell to do put back the smaller one to its original place;both pair rejected her and even pecked her on the head ( with pain of cause!)and i saw a pool of "liquid" inside the shell! and i presume that was ....err...you know...!!?? I might have disturbed their boogie boogie...

I do hope those sugar glider owner should also take a peek during those funny time and see how it is! a pool of "liquid" like mine?Well true enough the female was pregnant after some times and now the babies are about 1.5 months old.I sold both the babies to my colleague for RM 100.oo a pair.Damp cheap huh! The shop is selling RM 380.00 for the female and RM 350.oo for the male!

One of my Sugar Glider babies was died !!

Just too bad ! One of them was died on Wednesday...inside it's own coconut shell. Don't know due to what reason!

Babies first encounter with US

First exposure...a bit Bo Lam Par...dare not move but once they are used to the surrounding...then they are different. They (Adult ) like to eat pellet food for cat or dog,apple,coconut,grapes,durian of any Grade but must be totally ripe and most of all they love to eat rambutan.Easy to keep them.

I saw the new price tag on this animal was RM 380.00 for a female baby of 2 months old and likewise RM 350.00 for a male.they can have two seasons in a year.So if every thing goes well i will have 2 pairs a year at least! WANNa own one? Is free for you just pay me their maintenance fees will do.
